Byer of Maine

Byer of Maine has built camp cots, folding chairs and hammocks out of Orono, Maine since 1880, and its gear still leans on the old patterns: wooden folding cots, canvas campaign chairs and slatted roll-top tables that pack flat into a carry bag.

Here you will find the Pangean line of oiled eucalyptus and ash furniture, aluminum, steel and hardwood cots for camp or the spare room, and Brazilian-style hammocks with a matching steel stand. It is base camp furniture for a long weekend at a trailhead or a summer on the porch.
