Byer of Maine Pangean Lounger
Choose options
The Pangean Lounger is a low wooden camp chair with a slatted seat and a canvas back that folds flat for carrying. It replaces the Maine Lounger that Byer of Maine once built at its plant in Orono, Maine.
Production has moved to a small factory in the central highlands of Vietnam. The kiln-dried Eucalyptus Grandis frame has a rich brown finish, with a back of 100% polyester canvas in your choice of forest green, natural or granite. At 8 lb, you can carry one in each hand by the top rail, and it leans flat against a tree or slides behind a seat when you are done.
This chair sits close to the ground and has no arms. It is built for the beach, a fire ring or a dock, not for anyone who wants a high seat that is easy to stand up from. Pair it with a small Pangean table or browse camp chairs.
