Comms + Connectivity
Overland communications gear solves three different problems that get confused with each other constantly, so it is worth being blunt about which is which.
Two-way radios (GMRS, CB) talk to the vehicle behind you. No towers, no subscription, no internet — just line of sight between antennas. This is what you use to run a convoy or call a spotter through an obstacle. Cell boosters amplify a weak signal that already exists. One bar becomes two. Zero bars stays zero. Satellite is the only one that works where there is no cellular infrastructure at all. It is also the only one you pay a monthly bill for.
Most builds end up with at least two of the three, because they solve different failures. Use the filters to browse by type or brand — Midland radios, weBoost boosters, and Starlink Mini mounts from Star Mount Systems, DVA Mechanics and Revolink.
