The Nomad Table is an old knock-down design that Byer of Maine builds into its Pangean line. Set up, it is a solid square wooden table at sitting height. Taken apart, the slatted top rolls up on its webbing and the four legs pull out, so the whole thing packs into a small bundle.
It is made from Eucalyptus Grandis hardwood with a rich oil finish, measures about 30 by 29 inches across and 28 inches high, and weighs 19 lb. The top and legs travel in a fabric carry bag. Its height suits the Pangean Campaign Chair, and the warm stain matches the rest of the Pangean pieces.
Setup takes a minute longer than a folding table because you seat each leg. Like any oiled hardwood, it needs its finish renewed each season. More camp tables.
