Byer of Maine Maine Military Cot HD
Choose options
The Maine Military Cot HD is the largest and strongest cot Byer of Maine builds, a full seven-foot bed in the classic military pattern for tall sleepers, long base camps and emergency kits.
The frame is 1-1/4 inch square aircraft aluminum tubing, and since 2020 the legs and rails carry steel tubes inside for extra strength. Byer has load tested it to 1,100 lb and rates it at a conservative 375 lb. The ripstop polyester cover is treated to repel water, doubled through the center, and lined where it wraps the rails to keep the frame from squeaking. A multi-pocket gear pouch hangs off the side, and setup is helped by a hook-and-loop end that adjusts cover tension. Straps and a carry bag are included. It is built for Byer by a factory near Hangzhou, China.
Size is the catch. At 84 inches long and 22 lb it needs a big tent footprint and a real spot in the vehicle. Browse more sleep systems.
