Recovery

Recovery gear is what gets a stuck vehicle moving again, and picking the right piece for the job matters. Kinetic gear, such as snatch straps and kinetic ropes, stretches under load and releases that stored energy to pull a vehicle free. It is intended for vehicle-to-vehicle snatch recovery only, and should never be used for winching, towing or anchoring. Static gear does not stretch: winch line extensions, tree savers, bridles and soft shackles are built to hold a steady load, and are what you want for winching, towing and anchoring.
