A weekend of camp trash in a plastic sack in the bed is a smell you carry all the way home. The Max Adventure Tailgate Trash Bag hangs on the outside of the tailgate at 18 x 25 x 10 inches, which is our oversized pattern, so the garbage, the firewood, or the muddy recovery gear stays outside the vehicle and out of the cab entirely.
It is built from heavy-duty, weather-resistant vinyl, the right material for a bag that lives permanently in UV and road spray. The zippered top has a rain flap so water sheds off the seam instead of seeping through it, and dual side zippers let you pull a full liner out sideways rather than hauling it up over the top edge. A grommeted drain hole keeps water from pooling in the base, compression straps pull the bag flat when it is empty so it does not flap at highway speed, and reflective tape puts something visible on the back of your vehicle at night.

What to know before you buy
Do not exceed the 55 lb recommended weight limit. Anything strapped against paint can trap grit, so clean both the tailgate and the bag before installing, and check the contact area after off-road trips to clear out dirt and debris before it starts working on the finish.
