Vinyl Strap Covers - Spare Tire Trash Bag
Choose options
On a truck that lives outside, the bag is not what fails first — the straps and buckles are. Nylon webbing chalks, stiffens and frays under UV long before the bag itself gives up, and a spare tire bag is mounted in the worst place possible: vertical, rear-facing, in full sun, every day. These vinyl covers slip over the nylon straps on the spare tire trash bag and take the UV hit instead.
They are cut from UV-resistant, heavy-duty fade-resistant vinyl and sized to fit the straps snugly, so they do not flap at highway speed. Installation is exactly what it sounds like: slip them over the straps. They also keep rain and road grime off the webbing, which is the other thing that shortens strap life.
