The Max Adventure Spare Tire Trash Bag straps to the spare and turns the empty space in the middle of the wheel into 18 x 25 x 10 inches of sealed exterior storage, so wet garbage, muddy recovery gear, firewood, wet clothing, fishing kit or spare blankets stay outside the vehicle for the whole drive.

The body is heavy-duty, weather-resistant vinyl, which is what a bag mounted on the outside of a vehicle needs: it does not fade, stiffen or wick water the way fabric does under constant UV and road spray. A zippered top with a rain flap keeps the weather out of the seam, dual side zippers let you drag a full bag out sideways instead of hauling it up over the lip, and a grommeted drain hole stops water building up in the base. Compression straps cinch the bag flat when it is empty so it is not a flapping sail on the highway, reflective tape makes the back of your vehicle visible at night, and the adjustable straps fit tires up to 40 inches in diameter.

What to know before you buy

Do not exceed the 55 lb recommended weight limit. The bag body is fade- and weather-resistant vinyl, but the nylon straps and buckles are not: they are the part that will show sun damage first. Our Vinyl Strap Covers slide over them and are the single best thing you can do for the service life of this bag.
