Medium Headrest Trash Bag - Fits 3 Gal Bin

Car trash ends up in a plastic grocery sack on the floor, and the first hard corner tips it into the footwell. The Medium Headrest Trash Bag hangs off the back of a front seat headrest and is sized around a standard 3-gallon rectangular wastebasket, so the garbage stays upright and contained instead of migrating around the cabin for the next 200 miles.

It mounts with dual quick-release buckles on an adjustable strap: unclip two buckles and the whole bag comes off to be emptied, then snaps straight back on without re-threading anything around the headrest posts. The body is hand-sewn from heavy-duty fabric with outer lower slip pockets for the things you actually reach for while driving, such as tissues, wipes and a roll of spare liners. Two closure styles are offered because they solve different problems: the three-sided top zipper drops the entire top open so you can drop the bin in and lift the liner out flat, while the hard flip top lets you push a wrapper through one-handed and springs shut on its own so nothing blows back out.

What to know before you buy

The hard plastic bin shown in some of the photos is no longer included and is no longer offered as an option. The bag is cut to accept a 3-gallon rectangular wastebasket, which is a common big-box store item; you can also run a liner bag straight in the bag without a bin.
