Goose Gear Jeep Wrangler JKU (4-Door, 2007–2018) Side Cubbies

The JKU Side Cubbies replace the rear-cargo plastic in front of both roll-bar locations with squared-off, lockable storage compartments in industrial-grade plywood with Goose Gear's proprietary coating. Besides adding closed storage, they straighten the walls of the cargo area so drawers and modules sit against flat surfaces instead of the factory's curved trim. They bolt directly to the JKU Rear Plate System with no drilling into the vehicle.

A great fit if you want to square up the JKU cargo walls and add lockable storage in front of the roll bars. Look elsewhere if you have a 2-door — use the JK 2-Door Side Cubbies.

• A side-mounted subwoofer and its plastic trim must be removed for the cubbies to fit.
• On 2007–2010 the rear door has no factory hinge cutout; the hinge relief is pre-cut into the cubbies, so you'll see the body through it on those years.

What do the cubbies do? They replace the curved rear-cargo plastic with squared-off, lockable storage boxes in front of the roll bars — extra secure storage plus flat walls for your drawers.

Do I need the rear plate? Yes — the cubbies bolt to the JKU Rear Plate System; they don't mount to the vehicle on their own.

Will they clear my subwoofer? A side-mounted subwoofer and its trim have to come out for the cubbies to fit.

What about 2007–2010 Jeeps? Those years lack the later hinge cutout, so you'll see the body through the pre-cut hinge relief in the cubby.
