Goose Gear Jeep Wrangler JKU (4-Door, 2007–2018) Second-Row Seat Delete — Legacy V1

This is the original V1 second-row seat-delete design for the JKU. It's kept in the catalog mainly for owners who already run a V1 delete and want to add the other side — the current V2 (Explore Series) won't mate to a V1 platform, so a V1 build has to stay V1. If you're starting fresh, use the current module-based Explore Series instead. The V1 is a bolt-in replacement for the 60% passenger or 40% driver second-row seat, with two storage access doors per side and all the hardware to bolt to factory points; it requires the JKU Rear Plate System, and 2007–2010 rigs need threaded inserts.

Will it fit / who's it for?

• For the Jeep Wrangler JKU 4-door, 2007–2018.
• Order the 60% passenger side, the 40% driver side, or both for a full second-row delete.
• Requires the JKU Rear Plate System. Running only the 60% delete also requires the 60% Seat Delete Bracket to support the retained 40% seat; the 40% delete only fits when the 60% side is also deleted.
• Bolt-in on 2011–2018; 2007–2010 requires threaded inserts in the floor.
• Buy this only to match an existing V1 build — new builds should use the Explore Series.

Common questions

Should I buy this or the current version? Buy this only if you already own a V1 seat delete and want to add the second side — the current V2 won't mate to a V1. For a new build, use the Explore Series module-based seat delete.

Why won't the new one fit my V1? The V2 is a redesigned module-based platform; its geometry doesn't mate to the older V1 plates, so a V1 build stays V1.

Do I need the rear plate and bracket? Yes — it requires the JKU Rear Plate System, and running only the 60% delete also requires the 60% Seat Delete Bracket to support the 40% seat.
