Dual battery systems and DC-DC chargers keep your fridge, lights, and devices running overnight without touching the battery that starts your truck.

There are two ways in. A DC-DC charger from REDARC, National Luna, or Sterling Power charges a second battery correctly off the alternator — and usually solar — while you supply the battery, tray, and wiring. Genesis Offroad's Gen 3 kits are the opposite approach: complete, vehicle-specific systems for trucks like the Tacoma and 4Runner with the tray, wiring, and monitoring included. Kits cost more but remove the guesswork; a bare charger is cheaper and fits any vehicle.
