Automatic dual-battery isolation without the guesswork of a manual switch.
The REDARC Smart Start SBI12 is a voltage-sensitive battery isolator for 12V systems, bundled here with the wiring needed to connect it. It sits between your start and auxiliary batteries, connecting them to charge together once the vehicle is running and disconnecting the auxiliary bank so it can never flatten your cranking battery. It suits utes, 4WDs, caravans and camper builds running a second battery for fridges, lighting or accessories off the alternator.
- Voltage-sensitive: engages and drops out automatically based on system voltage, no dashboard switch to remember
- Rated to 100A continuous, enough for typical single auxiliary-battery setups
- Kit includes the isolator plus wiring to simplify a clean install
