The ZEAL Pro Road, Gravel & Triathlon Bike Cover protects a drop-bar or tri bike on a rear vehicle rack, keeping carbon, paint and bar tape clear of rain, snow, dust, road spray and UV on the drive to the trailhead or the race. It covers road, gravel, cyclocross and triathlon frames.
Like the other ZEAL Pro covers, it goes on before the bike is secured, and reinforced pass-throughs let the rack's own clamps and wheel straps grab the bike through the fabric. The shell is waterproof nylon with a rubberized backing and weather-sealed zippers, and an abrasion-resistant lining keeps the fabric from rubbing the frame. Tri riders get an expandable handlebar box for aero bars and extra room at the seat tube for bottle cages mounted behind the saddle. The reflective logo helps at night.
Pick the size by wheelbase, measured axle center to axle center with the tires inflated; ZEAL Pro suggests sizing up if you fall between sizes or run aero bars or rear hydration. On hitch and trunk racks you will need the separate Light Kit, and the cover is not recommended for roof racks. Browse more hitch carriers.
