The short link that takes the strain off your winch line. A pendant is a stout, fixed length of HMPE that lives between your winch line eye and the load. It gives you a fast, fully rated connection point, spreads the load, and saves the working end of your winch line from the wear that comes with every rig-up.
Built from coated HMPE fiber, it is strong as an ox and drops rather than snapping back like steel cable if it ever lets go. Connect it with a soft shackle for the strongest, safest link in the system.

Match the pendant to your winch line. Run a pendant of the same 7/16" diameter as your winch line so the whole system carries the same rating. Prioritize a soft shackle over a hook or thimble at the connection point.
Safety: Inspect the pendant before every pull and retire it if you find cut, fuzzed, or glazed fiber. Start with a single-line pull, lay a recovery damper over the line, and keep bystanders clear of the danger zone. Never exceed the rating of your winch or connection points. Made in the USA.
