Goose Gear Toyota 4Runner 4th Gen Rear Plate System — 2003-2009

The Rear Plate System is the foundation of a 4th-gen 4Runner build. It bolts over the rear cargo area to give you one flat, clean surface, so Goose Gear modules or your own storage and accessories mount to a solid base instead of shifting on the factory carpet. Modules install and remove with simple hand tools once the plate is in, and the plate secures to the vehicle body using existing threaded inserts with the included fasteners.

A great fit if you own a 2003-2009 Toyota 4Runner and want a flat, bolt-in base to build storage on top of. Look elsewhere if you have a 5th-gen (2010-2024) or 6th-gen (2025+) 4Runner, which use their own plate systems.

• If your vehicle has the factory subfloor storage area in the rear, you will need to cut out the two rear tabs so the plate lays flat.
• Installation requires removing the rear carpet. If you add Dynamat or a similar product to the body, keep it a consistent single-layer height so the plate lays even.
