The Survival Fire Striker is the simplest reliable fire in your kit. A compact ferrocerium rod throws sparks at over 5,400°F and keeps working when a lighter won't — wet, cold, or windy — to light tinder, campfires, wood stoves, grills, and fire pits.
At an ounce and three inches long, it disappears into a pocket, glovebox, or bushcraft loadout, and one rod is good for more than 3,000 strikes.
