A rifle rested on a hood, a window sill or a rock does two things: it moves, and it marks the vehicle. The Shooter Sand Bag is a 7 in wide x 9 in long x 9 in tall bag that gives you a stable, conforming rest wherever you happen to be — a window frame, a hood, a bench or the ground — and takes the contact instead of your paint.
It ships empty so you choose the fill, and the fill is what determines the character of the rest: sand for maximum mass and the least movement, beans or buckwheat hulls for a lighter bag that conforms more readily and is easier to carry in. Hand-sewn from heavy-duty fabric. Empty, it folds flat, so it stores in a range bag rather than dominating one.
