The Sherpa Matterhorn Sport is the low-profile take on the original full-length 4Runner rack, sized for the 1996–2002 3rd Gen Toyota 4Runner. Sport Series racks run lighter, thinner side plates on the same PEAK Series mounting structure, giving you the lowest-profile Sherpa rack yet — easier to slip under a garage door or into tight trailheads while still bolting on with no drilling.
The aluminum extrusion crossbars use wide slots and drop-in nuts, so you can reconfigure the platform and add accessories in minutes — from a bike mount for the trail to a rooftop setup for the weekend. Rubber roof seals and a direct load path protect the sheet metal underneath.
Fitment: 1996–2002 Toyota 4Runner (3rd Gen), using the factory mounting points. Drill-free install; requires 8 roof-track anchor plates (available separately if yours are missing).
