The Diabolical Inc Locker for the two-door Jeep Wrangler JL is a compact lockbox that lives behind the rear seat, so the Jeep keeps its four-seat layout. It is a sensible fit for daily drivers who take the top off in summer but still need somewhere to leave a jacket, tools or a camera bag.
This JL version is aluminum with a full powder coat. Two side walls carry the forward wall and lid, and both the lid and forward wall release with knurled spin knobs, so you can strip it down without tools. It measures 40.5 in wide, 11 in deep and 17 in tall, works with hard and soft tops or with the top off, and sits on carpet.
Access is through the tailgate only, and the depth is set by the space behind the seat, so think duffel and tool roll rather than a fridge. For the whole cargo area, the JL 2-door Slipstream is the step up, with the seats removed.
