The Front Runner Dometic Load Bar Kit is a low-profile way to carry gear on your Land Rover Defender (1983-2016) when you don't need a full roof rack. Two 1425mm load bars mount directly to the rain gutters on four 225mm gutter-mount legs, giving you a smaller footprint that's ideal for a roof top tent or a few key accessories.
The bars use the same corrosion-free aluminum slats as Front Runner Slimline II racks, with sliding T-slot nuts on top and bottom for quick accessory fitting. Built from stainless steel and weather-resistant black powder-coated aluminum, the kit ships with all hardware and an install guide. Please note: a NAS roll cage may interfere with the gutter legs — check before ordering. The bars and legs can later be reused to build a complete Front Runner roof rack.
