This latch kit bolts up to four standard Maxtrax boards (or two standard and two extreme) directly to Alu-Cab load bars, using GP Factor's acme-threaded latch hardware built from Delrin, stainless, and nitrided steel. It also works stand-alone on a flat panel if you're not running load bars. One honest note: the optional orange knobs look great but fade faster in UV than the standard black. The Alu-Cab configuration is the version most camper and rooftop-tent owners reach for, since it clips onto load bars that are already carrying gear rather than requiring a separate mounting surface.
- 7/16" acme-threaded bolt and stud construction for long-term durability under vibration
- Each knob accepts a standard padlock; kit includes one pull pin for the non-locking side
- Alu-Cab version bolts straight into the 8mm slot used on Gen3 tents and campers
