The Garberg is the most rugged knife Morakniv builds — a genuine full-tang blade forged in Mora, Sweden and made to take batoning, carving, and everything a hard trip throws at it. The BlackBlade carbon steel takes a wicked edge and hones easily in the field, while the thin DLC coating shrugs off scratches and helps hold back rust.
The 90-degree ground spine throws sparks off a ferro rod and processes tinder, and the Scandi grind keeps sharpening dead simple. Thick enough to baton, controlled enough for feather sticks and fine camp work.
