Diode Dynamics 70 mm Switchback Halo Rings are LED rings for custom headlight and fog light retrofits. They run white as a parking light or DRL and switch to amber with the turn signal. High-density LEDs under a phosphor coating give a solid, even ring that stays visible in direct sunlight.
Waterproof PWM drivers handle three inputs: high power, low power and turn signal. The default "low priority" drivers drop to low power when both white inputs are on, so you can run a bright DRL by day and have the halos dim at night with the headlights. The turn signal input drives the ring harder and must only go to a turn circuit, or the driver overheats.
Installing halos means opening the headlight or fog housing. More in accent lighting.
