Coleman Camp Oven Padded Carry Bag

The Coleman camp oven is a folding sheet-metal box. That is its virtue and its problem: it packs flat, and it dents, creases and scratches just as flat. Thrown in the back in its cardboard box, or in nothing at all, it picks up dings that eventually stop the door closing square. This padded bag is cut for the camp oven so it travels protected and folded rather than getting crushed under a cooler.

Closed-cell foam padding surrounds the oven and absorbs the impacts that would otherwise land on thin sheet metal. The bag measures 13 x 13 x 3 in, matched to the oven folded, so it is not flopping around inside and hammering its own corners. A heavy-duty zipper keeps the oven closed on washboard roads, and wide handles spread the load across your hand instead of cutting into your fingers.

What to know before you buy

The bag holds the oven, not its fuel supply. The propane oven, the bottle and the bottle pouch are not included. The oven has to be fully cool and folded flat to fit the 3 in depth.
