A short kinetic rope for tight trails and controlled tows. Stuck, or towing a disabled vehicle where there is no room for a full 30-footer? The Yankum Trail Rope packs the same double-braid nylon stretch into a shorter length. Under tow it helps keep the towed vehicle tracking straight, so the driver can focus on the line instead of fighting the wheel.
Mil-Spec quality double-braid nylon with our Code Red polymeric coating to resist UV, water and abrasion, plus thick urethane-dipped eyes where wear happens most. Works for both kinetic recoveries and towing.
Size to the recovery vehicle, not the stuck one
Match the rope to the vehicle doing the pulling. Pick the diameter for that weight, then the length for your terrain (10' and 15' for tight spots).

Safety: A kinetic rope stores enormous energy under stretch. Inspect the rope and eyes before every use, connect only to rated recovery points (never a tow ball), use a soft shackle rather than a hook, and keep bystanders well clear of the danger zone. When towing, keep speeds low and the line under control.
