With the trend toward bigger wheel and tire combos on the JK Wrangler, ARB engineered this swing-away spare tire carrier to handle up to a 40 in. tire while taking the weight off your tailgate.
The synchronized swing-out operation opens with light pressure and a gas strut, then slams shut with an automatic spring-loaded locking pin. Note: modification to the third brake light may be required to clear a 37 in. or larger spare.
- Accommodates up to a 40 in. tire (twin 33s or a single 35 on most vehicles)
- CNC-machined pivot with bronze bushings and dual-shear mounting
- Includes mounts for rear-facing lights and UHF/AM antennas
- Zinc-primed with a textured powder coat finish
