A greasable shackle is only as good as the bushes it rides on. This Old Man Emu rear shackle bushing kit is made to pair with the OME greasable shackle (OMEGS12) and OME leaf springs, moulded from a polyurethane-and-rubber blend that stands up to the heat, grit and flex that destroy soft OE rubber — so the rear stays located and the ride stays composed under load.
Running the correct OME bushes with the greasable shackle means you can service the pivot and keep it quiet for the long haul, rather than replacing seized OE bushes down the track. Fit it when you install the OMEGS12 shackle and OME rear springs on your first-gen Tacoma.
