Standard shackle bushings on a hard-used D22 wear and seize, and once they bind the rear springs cannot pivot cleanly. This Old Man Emu greasable shackle kit (OMESB105) adds serviceable grease points so the shackles keep moving freely and last longer.
It is a direct-fit rear shackle set for the leaf spring mounting points, letting you flush and re-grease the bushings during routine maintenance. The trade-off is that greasable hardware asks for occasional attention in exchange for that longer service life.
