The ARB Air Locker RD232 locks the widely used Toyota 8" axle (8.9" ring gear, 32-spline) on demand. A single dash switch takes an open differential to 100% lock for climbs, ruts and off-camber lines, then releases to full open-diff behaviour so the truck drives and wears tyres like stock on the road.
This 32-spline Toyota housing appears under many Toyota Tacoma models and related IFS/solid-axle trucks, making it one of the most popular Air Locker applications. ARB's forged four-pinion centre stands up to bigger tyres and low gearing, and air-operated engagement is instant, repeatable and fully driver-controlled.
