ARB Air Locker — Land Rover Banjo (10-Spline)
Older Land Rovers earned their reputation on open diffs and driver skill — but a lifted or unloaded wheel still robs you of drive. The ARB Air Locker for the early Land Rover banjo axle adds a driver-selectable, air-operated lock so both wheels on the axle turn together on command, then releases for normal open-diff road behaviour.
This carrier is built for the coarse 10-spline banjo differential used in classic Land Rover Defender and Series-era axles. On-demand engagement gives you a fully locked axle for the hardest low-traction obstacles with no permanent effect on steering or ride.
- Selectable, air-operated 100% differential lock
- Forged internals for the 10-spline Land Rover banjo axle
- Instant engagement from an ARB air source
- Bolt-in replacement for the factory carrier
Trade-off: needs a compressed-air supply and professional installation with correct differential setup.
