Toyota Tacoma 4th Gen (2024+) Tailgate Backup Camera Relocation Cable Kit
Choose options
The GG Offroad Tailgate Backup Camera Relocation Cable Kit lets a 2024+ Tacoma keep its factory backup camera when the tailgate is blocked or gone. Swing-out carriers, high-clearance bumpers, bike racks, flatbeds and campers all hide the stock camera, and this kit moves it to where it can see again, with the same image and guidelines on the dash.
A 10 ft braided cable plugs into the factory Toyota connectors at both ends, so the harness stays uncut. The kit includes an adjustable mount with two angle positions, camera clips and bezels, so the camera can sit near its original height or above the plate. Choose the version for your build: keeping the tailgate, which adds heat shrink and butt splices, or removing the whole tailgate, which adds the CAN bus adapter the truck needs to stay error-free without it. Whether your Tacoma has the 360 camera system does not change the version.
Most installs take under an hour; the tailgate-delete version adds a short integration step. GG Offroad says the kit is made in Colorado. More for the Tacoma 4th Gen, or see the Tundra version.
