Toyota Tundra 3rd Gen (2022+) Tailgate Backup Camera Relocation Cable Kit
Choose options
The GG Offroad Tailgate Backup Camera Relocation Cable Kit for the 2022+ Tundra moves the factory backup camera off the tailgate and onto whatever now sits behind it: a swing-out tire carrier, a high-clearance bumper, a flatbed, a camper or a canopy. The camera keeps its stock image and guidelines, and the "Camera Unavailable" message goes away.
A 10 ft braided cable plugs into the factory connectors on both ends, so there is no cutting or splicing. It comes with camera bezels, clips, mounting hardware and an adjustable mount with two angle options. There are two versions. Standard suits Tundras that show a single rear view in reverse. The 360 version suits trucks with the Panoramic View Monitor, which stitches four cameras into an overhead view.
Most installs take under an hour. There is no tailgate-delete adapter for the Tundra; if the tailgate comes off entirely, the CAN bus signals have to be split into the tailgate harness to keep the guidelines, and GG Offroad's install guide covers it. GG Offroad says the kit is made in Colorado. More for the Tundra 3rd Gen, or see the Tacoma version.
