Toyota put the 12V battery in the rear of the Hybrid Tundra, which makes traditional aftermarket electrical work invasive and painful. This kit solves that with a clean power-relocation system you can install at home as a weekend project.
Power Relocation Kit Includes (or provides mounting for)
- Garmin PowerSwitch (up to two included)
- Blue Sea Systems ground bar
- Power cables from the battery to the pass-throughs
- Power cables from the pass-throughs to the under-hood mount
- Power pass-throughs
- All fuses, hardware, and components needed to run power from the rear battery to under the hood
Advanced Install
This install requires drilling two 1-5/16" holes through the vehicle — the cleanest, safest, and best-sealed way to route power out using our pass-throughs. If you can run a drill and hole saw, you're set. The complete kit includes everything listed above but no electronics (no Garmin PowerSwitch units unless selected).
2–4 week lead time.
