The ZEAL Pro Mountain & Fat Tire Bike Cover wraps a whole mountain bike while it rides on the back of the truck, so the drivetrain, suspension seals and paint arrive without a coat of washboard dust, road spray or mud. It is sized for XS to XL mountain bikes, fat bikes on tires up to 29 x 4 in, and e-bikes that share traditional mountain bike geometry.
The trick is that the bike stays strapped to the rack through the cover. Reinforced pass-throughs let tray clamps, wheel straps and hanging-rack cradles reach the frame and wheels, and an opening under the fork crown works with fork and front-wheel hanging racks. The front section flexes so the wheel can still turn up to 90 degrees. Outside is waterproof nylon with weather-sealed zippers; inside, an abrasion-resistant backing keeps the fabric off the frame. Removable Skinny Pawz cover standard grips, and pockets accept the separate Light Kit.
Two requirements. On hitch and trunk racks the covered bike usually hides your taillights, and ZEAL Pro requires its Light Kit in that case. The cover is also not recommended for roof racks. Browse more hitch carriers.
