Reach farther without overloading your drum. Packing too much line on the winch drum lets it pinch down on itself and cut your effective MTS. The Yankum winch line extension keeps a sensible length on the drum and gives you the reach when you need it: pull out the extension, connect, and get after it.
Made with coated Amsteel HMPE, it is strong as an ox and will not turn into a metal whip if it lets go. We aim to delete steel from the recovery wherever we can.
Match the extension to your winch line
Run an extension of the same diameter as the winch line on your drum. Ratings are identical to the main line.

Safety: Inspect the extension before every use and retire it if you find cut, fuzzed, or glazed fiber. Connect with a soft shackle rather than a hook, start with a single-line pull, lay a recovery damper over the line, and keep bystanders clear of the danger zone. Never exceed the rating of your winch or connection points.
