The Eezi-Awn K9 Truck Shell Roof Rack lets you put a proper welded-aluminum platform on top of almost any canopy or camper shell. If your shell has a flat top surface, this universal drill-to-fit kit will mount to it — just measure your shell top and match it to the available sizes.
Key Features
- Universal drill-to-fit rails: the kit includes a pair of undrilled universal mounting rails with a centering indent on the underside. Typically you drill 4–5 holes per rail to attach it to the shell top (or match holes from an existing track).
- Hardware note: mounting hardware is not included because shell-top thickness varies. Eezi-Awn recommends M6 stainless button-head cap screws with fender washers and M6 nylock nuts inside the shell; a 1/4" x 1" aluminum flat-stock backer inside the roof adds support.
- Five lengths, two widths: a size to suit most canopy tops, from short to full-length platforms.
- Serious capacity: on a suitably built vehicle, dynamic loads in the 500 lb range and static loads up to 1000 lb are possible (not a warranted rating — your load capacity will vary).
- Thule & Yakima compatible: keep your existing sport mounts using 6mm hardware around the platform perimeter, plus the full K9 accessory range.
