Backwoods Steel Rock Sliders for the 5th Gen Toyota 4Runner (2010-2024) give you rocker panel protection and the function of a step. At a 0-degree angle they tuck up close to the body, keeping your ground clearance. The kickout (the flared end of the slider) lets the rear of the vehicle pivot, pushing the rear tire away from a rock or tree, and it works as a wide step for reaching gear on the roof. They are made from DOM steel tubing, commonly used on high-end sliders, and Backwoods says they can hold the weight of the entire vehicle. These sliders work with Toyota KDSS.
