Goose Gear Toyota 4Runner 6th Gen Rear Plate System — 2025+ Hybrid

The Hybrid Rear Plate System is the foundation of a 6th-gen 4Runner Hybrid build. It floats over the factory hybrid battery to give you a secure, stable surface for strapping gear or bolting on Goose Gear drawers and IceBox modules. Two storage areas sit below the plate, at the front and rear near the liftgate and behind the second-row seats, and the eight-piece design keeps the 12v battery accessible. It is 100% bolt-in and fully reversible.

A great fit if you have a 2025+ 4Runner 6th Gen Hybrid and want a flat, bolt-in base built to clear the hybrid battery. Look elsewhere if you have a Non-Hybrid 4Runner, which uses the Non-Hybrid Rear Plate System.

• Seat backs sit about 2.5" (63mm) above the plate at their lowest point and about 6" (150mm) at their highest; rear plate to roof line at center about 28-1/2" (725mm).

Common questions

Why is there a separate Hybrid plate? The Hybrid plate floats over the factory hybrid battery and clears the different rear layout. A Non-Hybrid plate will not fit a Hybrid, and vice versa.

How much weight does it hold? Over 400 lbs evenly distributed, far above the 130 lb factory limit.

Can I still reach the 12v battery? Yes. The eight-piece design provides access to the 12v battery.

Does it require drilling? No. It is 100% bolt-in and completely reversible.

Which drawers fit for a module seat delete? The module-based seat delete is built around 8" high x 36" deep modules; 10" and 12" drawer heights are not compatible with it.

Can I add a sleep platform? Yes. Add the module-based Hybrid Seat Delete over the drawers for a flat sleep deck.
