Sterling Power BBR Remote Control for Saturn Series DC-DC Battery Chargers

The BBR is the optional remote control and display unit for Sterling Power's Saturn series battery-to-battery chargers. If you've invested in a BB1240, BB1270, BB12120, or BB12200, the BBR is the accessory that takes your installation from set-and-forget to fully dialed — giving you live system data and complete configuration control from wherever you mount it in the cab, van, or coach.

Out of the box, the BBR displays your battery charge profile, real-time output voltage and current, charge stage status, and whether ignition feed or vibration mode is active. Toggle to the supplementary screen and you get battery temperature at the sensor if one is connected. It's the kind of at-a-glance visibility that tells you exactly what your electrical system is doing while you're driving down a washboard two-track.

Beyond monitoring, the BBR gives you hands-on control over how your Saturn charger operates. From the menu you can change battery type, set a fully custom charge profile with user-defined absorption voltage, float voltage, and absorption time, toggle ignition mode on or off, enable EQ desulphation mode for lead acid banks, and set output current to 65%, 85%, or 100% of rated capacity. That last feature is particularly useful when you want to conserve alternator headroom on sunny days with solar supplementing the charge, or when dialing in current to match a specific battery manufacturer's recommendation.

The BBR comes with 4m of extension cable and mounts three ways — flush, surface, or recess — with removable wing tabs and four screw holes for a clean, permanent install. It's powered directly from the charger and is only live when the charger is running.
