The Diabolical Inc Slipstream for the four-door Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited turns the open cargo area behind the rear seat into a locked, covered compartment. It is aimed at owners who run with the top or doors off and still want to leave recovery gear, tools or camp kit in the Jeep without watching it.

A vertical wall sits behind the rear seat and carries two horizontal C-channels. Those hold an aluminum folding top secured with quick-release pins and spin levers, and shaped wing skins wrap around the roll bar and follow the body line so there are no open gaps at the sides. The folding top tilts up, locks vertical or comes out entirely for tall loads, and the center wall folds down or lifts out too. There is a small access door behind the rear seat, so you are not limited to the tailgate. Tie-down rails on top let you stack gear: Diabolical rates them at 150 lb with the standard folding top and 250 lb with its raised tops.

The rear seat stays in on the JKU. It works with hard and soft tops, top on or off, sits fine on carpet, and Diabolical says recline kits under 3/4 in are fine. The one thing to get right is the subwoofer configuration: pick the variant that matches your Jeep from the table below. Diabolical lists patent numbers 15676879 and 16352640 for its enclosure design.
