RRE Safari Window Shelf Bag
Choose options
The safari window shelf in an RRE build leaves a long, shallow ledge that is perfect for gear and terrible at holding onto it. Anything you set there — tools, gloves, a flashlight — slides off at the first off-camber corner. This shelf bag is cut to that ledge, 15 in long and only 3 in deep, so the shelf becomes an enclosed, zip-shut storage tray instead of a launch ramp.
It is hand-sewn from water-resistant 1000D Cordura and closes with a heavy-duty zipper, so contents stay put and dust stays out. Velcro straps wrap the bag to the shelf rather than relying on adhesive or hardware, which means it goes in and comes back out with no tools and no drilling. A velcro loop on the face takes a custom ID tag so you can label several bags at a glance, and the bag works on its own or as a module inside our Tool Kit.
Typical loads: hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, sockets), electrical supplies (tape, wire strippers, fuses, batteries), plumbing bits (pipe cutters, plumber's tape), automotive kit (jumper cables, tire gauge) and camp gear (multi-tools, knives, repair kits). It is equally good for the everyday pile — gloves, headlamps, power banks, charging cables, sunglasses, first-aid items, snacks, dog treats and waste bags.
