This REDARC MC4 Y-adaptor kit is for overlanders combining a pair of solar panels into a single output run back to a regulator or DC-DC charger. The branch connectors let you double your available current while keeping voltage the same, using the same weatherproof MC4 standard as most panels and cabling.
- One male and one female MC4 Y-branch pair for parallel panel wiring
- Industry-standard MC4 fittings that mate with common panels and solar leads
- Sealed, locking connectors rated for outdoor 12V/24V use
Note: this parallels panels (current adds, voltage stays equal); it is not for series wiring, and panels should be similarly rated for best results. Pairs well with a REDARC regulator from our solar charge controllers.
