Purpose-built 24V charging for heavy-duty rigs that most 12V chargers can't touch.
The REDARC BCDC2420 is a 24V, 20A in-vehicle DC-DC battery charger for trucks, buses, and larger overland platforms running a 24V electrical system. It takes power from your alternator while driving and pushes a controlled, multi-stage charge into a separate auxiliary bank, so your house batteries reach a proper full charge instead of the partial top-up a direct connection gives you. This is the 24V variant in the BCDC line and suits the minority of builds running 24V rather than the more common 12V setup.
- Multi-stage charging profile tuned to bring auxiliary batteries to a genuine full state of charge
- Draws from the alternator on the move, keeping the house bank topped without idling
- Isolates and protects your start battery from auxiliary loads
Trade-off: this is a 24V unit only. If your vehicle runs a 12V system, choose the 12V BCDC model instead. Compare options in our DC-DC chargers and full REDARC range.
