A Ram ProMaster has no wall between the cab and the living area, which means the cab's glass — three big uninsulated panels — is thermally connected to wherever you are sleeping. This partition closes that opening off, so you are heating or cooling the space you actually occupy instead of the whole van, and headlights sweeping the windshield stop lighting up the bed.
It hangs from the headliner shelf, so there is no frame to build and nothing to bolt to the body. Heavy-duty fabric blocks light and slows heat transfer through the cab opening; drop it at night for privacy and a warmer bed, push it aside during the day. Because it is soft goods rather than a rigid bulkhead, it stows flat and does not permanently eat cab access.

What to know before you buy
This is a fabric partition, not an insulated rigid bulkhead. It cuts light and slows heat transfer through the cab opening; it will not seal the opening airtight.
