Each mount has a flat back and uses one of the included K9 Accessory Adapters to attach to the rack. It is designed to work with the MAXTRAX Mounting Pin Set — black nylon and stainless steel quick-release pins whose heads accept a TSA-style padlock — though those pins are sold separately.
