Why this instead of a tire carrier
The usual way to hang fuel off the back of a JK is to replace the whole tire carrier — expensive, heavy, and often a bumper swap too. This bolts to the hinges you already have, covers them with heavy-duty steel, and carries the can beside the spare. No hinge replacement, no aftermarket carrier.
