Not everyone is driving around the world, and that's exactly why Eezi-Awn built the Jazz. It's a true Eezi-Awn tent — same production lines, same people, many of the same components — but spec'd for the overlander who wants serious quality at a more attainable price. It uses 280GSM Teflon-coated polyester ripstop in place of the Series 3's heavier wax-cotton canvas, which trims weight and cost without giving up build integrity or weather protection.
If you're doing weekend runs and seasonal trips rather than year-long expeditions, the Jazz is right in the pocket. For continuous, extended deployment in harsh conditions, step up to the canvas Series 3.

- Same Production Line as the Series 3: Built in the same facility with many of the same components — the weight savings come from lighter fabric, not from swapping metal for plastic.
- 280GSM Teflon-Coated Polyester Ripstop: Lighter than the Series 3's canvas but genuinely weather-capable, with strong water and UV resistance.
- Proven Folding Platform Design: The same system as the flagship Series 3, and it can double as a trailer tent depending on trailer height.
- Integrated Window Covers: Side window coverings are part of the rain fly rather than separate panels, reducing setup steps and failure points.
- Moranti Plywood Floor: The same condensation-free, insulating floor as the Series 3 — no aluminum floor that sweats, no condensation sheet required.

Compatibility
Mounts to most roof racks and crossbars via the standard Eezi-Awn aluminum extrusion system, including K9, Thule, and Yakima. OEM factory bars are typically insufficient — plan on a proper load-bar upgrade before installing any roof top tent. The Jazz can also double as a trailer tent depending on trailer height.
