Jayco Terrain / Entegra Launch SLIDER Window Cover

The factory shades on a Jayco Terrain or Entegra Launch stop people looking in. They do almost nothing about temperature, because a single pane of van glass has essentially no insulating value: it dumps your heat outside all night in winter, soaks up sun in summer, and it is the surface every bit of condensation in the van chooses to form on. This cover is cut for the slider window and it slips into the gap between the glass and the existing shade, where it can actually do something about all three.

The pillow fills that cavity, so the shade is no longer the only thing between you and the glass, and it blocks light hard enough that you can sleep past sunrise. It also deadens outside noise, which you notice the first night you park somewhere with traffic. You choose the fill: standard closed-cell foam, a moisture-proof insulator that is the sensible default; or Havelock Wool, which insulates and can absorb and release moisture, so instead of water running down the inside of your window it gets managed by the fill. There is no hardware, no suction cups and nothing adhered to the glass; the pillow is held by the shade you already have.
